Catch 22: that doesn't make sense. If we really want to defeat Harper, Ignatieff is the only leader with a chance in hell of being PM, so why not have them spar 1:1. Moreover, if the election really is about 308 ridings, then the leaders' debate shouldn't matter at all to you.

For the record, the Catch 22 Campaign is opposed to a one on one debate. This election isn't only about who will be the next PM. Under Canada's voting system, a general election is really 308 separate elections in 308 ridings. Canadians don't elect the PM. The party that wins the election chooses the PM. A two-party system is only one party away from a one party state.
