Hey all

As per my previous post I have created a poster template for potential posters to be put around ridings across the country. The names of the regions candidates will be inserted in place of the leaders. Any thoughts on this poster (particularly from those of you who are artsy?  Poster%20Template.pdf

That is a real pity...but the last thing we want to do is go contrary to Elections Canada policy. Well the offer of help when it comes to anything like this is still there. I suspect Catch 22 is going to be a necessary initiative for some time to come. At least until we get a better method of representation for the electorate. Thanks and good luck!

It looks very nice the way it was just done up there. The unfortunate thing is I have been told that I cannot use their logos on a poster like this because they have to account for everything to elections canada. About the only thing I can think of is the removal of the Catch 22 and project democracy headers. Even then though I don't think that this poster will get much traction unless people jump on board. Good thoughts though.

oops...forgot to mention...I will glad help with this. I do have some professional software (Adobe), if not the latest and greatest... The spot for map could also be used instead for campaign office contact numbers. Campaign offices can help with getting to the right poll with the right i.d. etc.  Important for getting that vote in. The poster could be scaled to letter size and used for handout/flyers as well in the Ridings with our people 'on the ground'. Anyhooo...let me know if I can help. The concept sent is only 'a thought'....the original definitely does the job. Maybe I just have a thing about that shade of green!!! Here if you need me!

Let go of the green background or soften it. Too hard on the eyes so people will instinctively look away. Don't use Italics...for the same reason. Italics should only be used for emphasis when absolutely necessary...oh to heck with it...how about this as a quick concept (picture the lime green gone in this as well though...I just cut and pasted graph for time saving)

I think this is a great poster and a smart idea! (Perhaps a little late in the game to use now, but I really like this and think it should be used in material in all targeted ridings in future elections.)
