The open letter to Canadian journalists from the Canadian Association of Journalists is a great resource: http://www.caj.ca/?p=692 Basically, CAJ is talking about the "widespread threat to the public's right to know" from the Conservative secrecy machine.
I suggest asking Conservative voters why they think Harper needs to be so secretive. I also suggest taking along a video camera to capture some genuine moments of reconsideration by Conservative voters. Not a negative attack on them, just a way of opening up dialogue.
