In consideration of the concept of vote sharing or strategic voting note the following:
Andrew Saxton, Conservative candidate for North Vancouver voted against the tanker ban for B.C.’s North Coast.

However, the Liberal party supports the tanker ban.
The North Vancouver Liberal candidate is Taleeb Noormohamed, formerly the Vancouver Olympic organizing committee's vice-president of strategy and partnerships.
Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff’s announcement that a future Liberal government would legislate a ban on the tankers pits his party against one of Canada’s largest companies, Enbridge Inc.http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/british-columbia/ignat...

Perhaps Green party voters in North Vancouver could be persuaded to strategically vote for the North Vancouver Liberal candidate is Taleeb Noormohamed and in return, Liberal voters in Saanich-Gulf Islands could in turn vote for Elizabeth May, the Saanich-Gulf Islands Green Candidate.
Comment by c p on March 31, 2011 at 1:07am The Liberals and the Conservatives will face off just as aggressively in North Vancouver, which has a history of alternating between the two parties.
Conservative MP Andrew Saxton this time will confront an especially strong Liberal candidate in Taleeb Noormohamed, formerly the Vancouver Olympic organizing committee's vice-president of strategy and partnerships.
