I have had several people now attempt to match me up with someone voting Green in Saanich, but I have been UNsuccessful in finding someone who hadn't already made up their mind to vote for May. While this is exciting for her, I think the whole idea of a vote swap is just that...a trade. 

Having watched the polls closely here in VI North, and having been unsuccessful in trading my Green vote here for an ADDITIONAL Green vote in Saanich, I am heading to the polls hopeful that voting Green here is indeed keeping with my principles to support the ONLY party in this country that comes close to really representing any of my own political work. I am also hopeful that doing so will not detract from Ronna Rae Leonard taking this riding for the NDP. Good luck to everyone else voting on the basis of their own beliefs about the best way to advance democracy in our country! Thanks to all who have tried to help with the vote swap idea!

Sweet DR. Now if only the rest of us can pair up...

As far as my efforts go, I am not a fan of Facebook's Vote Swap Canada App. I selected Green as my vote - no matches for SGI. But saw within those search results another Catch Riding voter, so switched my party in my profile so that I could possibly be paired with somewhere that my vote will make a difference. So now I'm getting all these other random results (of poss partners) which don't even list ridings. Come on folks. Allow us to make informed decisions about where our vote is going!?

We'll see how this turns out....

Hooray! I've just found a match in Saanich!!! Word of mouth through friends who live here and called people there...hang in there everyone...May is still about 740 votes behind Lund...every vote will count...do whatever you can to make that difference. I have told my friend to have any last minute people in Saanich log on here or email me direct, in which case I'll post anything promising!

I've been trying for days Yanny...even started 'friending' people on Facebook that come up as living in Saanich! The only response so far was from ....a CPC voter! Better luck to you!

I was registered with Pair Vote and no luck. So yes, I too am going to try use this as a forum to find a swapping partner.

I will probably vote for the endorsed candidate irregardless tomorrow, BUT would prefer to find a Saanich NDPer to vote-swap with...any takers?!?

I ended up confirming a vote-pair with Gus B, a Green supporter from Esquimalt Juan de Fuca.  Now I'm off to Surrey for one last campaign for the NDP candidate in Surrey North.
