who to support 45 Replies

There is only one opposition candidate that makes sense to support. Elizabeth May is running neck and neck with Gary Lunn.  To support either the Libs or NDP in this riding is to help ensure a…Continue

I'm trying to encourage normally NDP voters in Saanich-Gulf Islands to swap with normally Green voters in Vancouver Island North. The Green voters up there don't have a chance to elect a Green candidate in their own riding but they could help elect their party's leader by doing this. And NDP voters here are frankly not going to get their candidate elected in SGI eiether--but they could help their party by getting an excellent NDP candidate elected in VI-North AND defeat another Conservative. Yes, Catch 22 has identified Ronna-Rae Leonnard, the NDP candidate up there, as having one of their picks to help us rescue our country from the ruinous policies of Stephen Harper. Lets do this together! I've got an NDP vote to swap with a Green from Vancouver Island North. Any takers up there?

Myna,

I guess their VoteSwap/VotePair works by trading votes at the last minute or something, I'm not sure.  I have to vote in advance as well and I would think you could just offer someone a swap and both voteswap in advance.  No?

Are you from SGI? Willing to swap?

i went to votepair and it seems that they are saying you can do this only if you don't vote in advance but on May2

Hi Bob,

I have also used that site.  Really good. There is an app for facebook (VoteSwap) but it's tricky to find many Saanich-Gulf Islanders; so I came here.

Vote Swap FTW! Or hopefully FTL of Harper.

To those interested in vote swapping, I learned about a web site last night specifically set up for that purpose.  Go to  www.votepair.ca.  Just checked it out and the address works. Please check it out for yourself.
