Palliser is a battleground between the Tories and the NDP in southern Saskatchewan. Although the Liberals have traditionally run a strong third in this riding their share of the vote has been shrinking.
The Liberal-Green-NDP vote combined is 56% to the Tories 44% - the lowest vote share of any Tory MP in Saskatchewan. Of the 22 percent that the Liberals and the Green share between them Noah and the NDP in Palliser only need half of those anti-Harper votes to put them over the top and hopefully deny Harper his majority.
The Tory vote, in my opinion, is not rock solid. Under the surface the Reform/Alliance voters are uncomfortable with Harper's style and substance. This is going to be a nail bitter on May 2nd!

Word coming my way is that many traditionally Con voters don't like Harper. Some will be party loyalists and hold their nose while they vote. Others will stay home. Still others plan to vote NDP. And get this! Some have taken Evanchuk signs!
Yes, a closely contested race it will be!
