This site is a great initiative. I am Pierre Poilievre riding. Both MP's

Pollievere and Biard had done nothing  to help the nortel disabled.

Pollievere and Baird has left me and 300 Disabled Nortel employees in crisis. Please view the video and read the information and pass on to anyone you feel needs to know. It is blatant abuse of the disabled. They had a choice to help but refused to do so.

You Tube: Prime Minister Harper Allows John Baird to Abuse Disabled

John Baird, House Leader for the Government in the House of Commons, known as the Bull Dog, has made a grave error harming disabled Canadians. On Dec. 3, 2010, John Baird answered Liberal MP Ralph Goodale on why his government was not helping the Nortel disabled. He said retroactive bankruptcy law amendments were not legal and were not permitted under the constitution. The Nortel disabled prove him wrong in this video.  However, in the spirit of Johnny Reid's hit song, "Today I'm Gonna Change the World," the Nortel disabled  will accept John Baird's apology for his mistake. Post the election, we ask the new government to introduce a just solution for the Nortel disabled and the 1.1 million Canadians exposed to unsafe disability insurance  at work.

The Canadian disabled thank the Liberal Party Leader Michael Ignatieff for tabling the disability bills and NDP Leader Jack Layton, Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe and Green Leader Elizabeth May for supporting the bills. For more information, go to

The central campaign is also going to put out a call to local supporters around the country to do something on April 23rd which should include flyers.

Our next "Walking Demonstration" is Wednesday at noon on the Sparks st Mall.

Just look for the yellow shirts then. We'll let you know Thursday's location on Wednesday. Gotta keep the other side guessing where we'll be next!

Will you be doing more walking tours this weekend? I don't have a car, but maybe someone else is going west from downtown?

We began our "Walking Demonstration" today at the Walmart at Clyde/Merivale.

There is no doubt that the bright yellow shirts attract a lot of attention. We engaged with a few voters but not quite as productive as some of our other locations.

We moved on to the Merivale Mall. Lots of attention again, to the bright yellow shirts and this time we had people begging us for shirts. Hurray!!!!!
