I assume that we will be supporting the Liberals in this riding. Has this been a decision? I read that I should not assume anything in Catch 22 and that each riding would be selecting the target…Continue

Comment by Sheenagh McMahon on May 1, 2011 at 8:36pm I gave out about 100 Not Baird flyers today at the Merivale Loblaws. People very receptive, they do not like him and recognize that there is no place for a bully, a pit bull in parliament. 1 man even came back to get a flyer after first refusing because he said he didn't like Baird and Baird had to go.

Comment by Catch 22 on May 1, 2011 at 10:11am "HEAVE STEVE DAY" began with a walking demonstration at Bayshore Shopping Centre in OWN. Filled with shoppers, we had lots of positive interactions with potential voters. It was heartening to see a yellow t-shirt here a yellow t-shirt there, all of us engaging with potential voters. Good for us!
It was a sea of Catch 22 members in yellow tshirts marching through the streets of the Market chanting
“Hey! Hey” Ho! Ho! Stephen Harper Has to Go.”
Stopping at street corners the chant changed to
“What do you want?” DEMOCRACY
“When do you want it?” NOW
“How ya goin to get it?” DUMP HARPER! DUMP HARPER! DUMP HARPER!
Tentative at first, we became emboldened by the clarity of the message and how good we sounded! We were encouraged by the attention it brought to our message. Again, we had lots of opportunities to engage with potential voters.
WELL DONE ALL!
We're at Bayshore at 2:30 & the Market at 5:00 in front of the CTV building.
We have access to a megaphone but need to keep walking.
Chant til we can't:
" What do you want?" DEMOCRACY
"When do you want it?" NOW
"How ya goin get it?" HEAVE STEVE....followed by
HEAVE HARPER! HEAVE HARPER! HEAVE HARPER!
Love it! Let's do it!
