Has everyone heard about this?

The CRTC proposes a change to various regulations (for radio and television) that would replace

-  any false or misleading news.

with

- any news that the licensee knows is false or misleading and that endangers or is likely to endanger the lives, health or safety of the public.

I don't know why they are proposing this change at this time, but I do know that it has the potential to be catastrophic to the Canada we know and love.  So, I figure Harper must be behind it.  As with all proposals, the CRTC is asking for public input.  You can express your opposition here but you only have until February 9th.
