Great! I'm glad that catch22 is endorsing candidates--the vote splitting is extremely dangerous for everyone---most people in our group are willing to do whatever is possible to help defeat cons in close ridings.

We're grateful that Catch 22 is doing this---it's a wonderful concept.

We're looking forward to the catch22 literature template and will hand out info in Perth Wellington and another close riding wherever possible.

Jenn, I will propose to our group that we come to your all candidates events and hand out catch22 literature, etc

We'll have a literature template available this week. Releasing our master plan early this week. In a perfect world, we would have people to help leaflet the rally for Catch 22 to help recruit new people to help communicate with voters. The two Kitchener ridings are Con because of vote splitting. "ABC" only encourages more vote splitting we're afraid to say. That's why Catch 22 is making candidate endorsements.

That's great, Dawn, I'll look at your website when I get home from work.  I hear you about coming in to take the reins, and agree that we need someone from the area itself to do so.  I'm also the events coordinator for CAPP here, but that's just a title I gave myself because nobody else was doing anything.  I work for accountants so can't even do that right now (tax season) but we're having an event on April 28th.  I'll send you info when I have it.

While Andrew, I know, would love the help, this is a Catch 22 website and so I'll keep my Catcher's hat on.  If we can find someone local to head the thing up, would you be able to come and help hand out Catch 22 flyers at all-candidates debates and the like?  I'm only hoping there's someone out there willing to sponsor all-candidates debates.  I used to do that, too, for the school boards.

Hi Jenn,

Our group is in Stratford(Stratford Democracy Watch). We aren't affiliated with any political party, although I was a Dion Liberal and started the OWLC group here. If you'd like to see our website    stratforddemocracywatch.blogspot.com

I had emailed Karen Redman about our group helping her campaign but had cautioned her that we'd expect some collaboration by her with the NDP and or greens if that's what it takes to eliminate the Con who has her seat now---she didn't respond.

I know Andrew as well(We lived in Upper Beachwood for a few years and both went to university in Waterloo) and would be possibly willing to volunteer for him

Our next meeting is this monday---there are approx 12 of us who do all the work.

We are organizing an ABC rally here(probably next Sat)---we had 200 out for our anti prorogue rally(not bad for a town of 30,000), so hopefully we can do the same about Harperland's Contempt of Canadians.

Where are the activists in  your area? It would be very hard for me to publically defend heading up an organized action and explaining to the media that nobody there would do it---the optics would be dreadful.

I'm terribly afraid for the Liberals in general---they just don't seem to have the willingness to just get out there and do whatever it takes to defend Canada and just doing the same old thing that served them in a bygone time won't work. Sadly, the David Smith's of the party don't get it and as long as they hold the reins, Canada is in peril. Harper has dismantled so much now that is invisible to most Liberal members, they aren't doing their homework---reading the Globe and Mail just isn't enough---if they had any idea, they'd be rioting in the streets.

Try to find some people willing to step up---perhaps an anti Harper Government rally should be organized there with Liberals, Greens, NDP and anyonme else. I'll help but not lead it.

Good luck!

Hi Dawn.  I'm from Kitchener-Waterloo, and while both Kitchener Centre and K-W sorely need to remove the two tools we've got now, nobody here seems to have stepped up to the plate.  I'm on the K-W Liberal board, so don't feel I can do it.  However, I'm on the K-W Liberal board to get rid of the two tools we've got now (I live in Kitchener), so I'd like to be involved, if only peripherally.

Think you can take the lead?  I'm hoping to get at least one other on the K-W thread, and you can work together, I think.

Any action plan yet by locals? We're from Stratford---not even close here.

We'd like to put our energies into a close riding ABC.
