Catch 22 has flyers!
The Catch 22 campaign needs a person or people in this riding right away to get flyers printed and distributed; and if you have extra energy and enthusiasm, to put up posters in conspicuous places. If you’re interested, please contact catch22campaign@gmail.com to get started. It only takes one person. It’s nice to have company though, so gather some friends together and make it a party of it. Flyers can be distributed at all-candidates meetings, other community meetings, and door-to-door. The only proviso is that you not be officially connected to one of the parties running in the election.

Here's what I wrote to Avaaz
I'm a volunteer in the Catch 22 campaign, which, like Project Democracy, is trying to prevent Harper from governing this country. I received your plea for donations this morning, and right afterwards received a message from a fellow Catch 22er wondering if we could in some way get help from you. I don't know what form that would take. I would certainly not want it to interfere with your support of Project Democracy, which I think you need to focus on, However, maybe you could make mention of us in some way. We also need donations and volunteers. Our work, as well as being online, is on the ground in target ridings, trying to distribute leaflets and posters. Maybe before the next election (if we have one??) all of these democracy groups can get to know each other and join forces to present a united front.

But back to Catch 22 and the task at hand. I'm sitting in my little old farm house in the boonies of Northwestern Ontario, trying to activate people in four faraway ridings to distribute leaflets and having no luck at all so far. Anybody got any ideas?
