Hi all,
The ' independant ' holding a seat in Portneuf-Jacques Cartier is André Arthur. Though he is «independant», he is a strong leaner on the Con side.In 2008, he won with a very thin margin.This is an important riding to take away form this 'independant con'.
Chances are the Bloc will win this time around......The Libs don't have a chance in Portneuf-Jacques Cartier.
The latest poll for Quebec, the Cons are having major difficulty in keeping their seats.Except for the riding of Louis-Saint-Laurent, minister Josée Verner. She is still strong in her riding,a great effort from all of may change that.WE CAN DO IT !
Her fellow cons all around her are struggling.GREAT NEWS !
Below an article for those of you who read French.Basically what it says is that the Cons are losing potential votes quickly in the Province of Quebec.

We really need to put some effort into keeping Conservatives out of seats that they narrowly lost last time around. Louis-Hebert (my riding) barely switched over to the Bloc last time. If I vote Bloc, my mother will turn over in her grave and she's not even dead yet. It's very difficult to promote voting for the Bloc due to their separatist platform, as much as I respect Duceppe for telling it like it is. It's a tough choice.
Are there any recent riding-by-riding polls available?

If polling is accurate, NDP will win three seats in our region of Quebec City and I won't have to vote Bloc! My mother thanks Jack but is voting Liberal to keep Scott Brison alive.
This is one of the reasons I love Québec. We're not afraid to try something different - and that goes for the older generations too.
